Charlie Marks was a detective working for the police. Through this she ran into Toby.
Season 1
Charlie walks into St. Luke's Hospital to investigate a crash victim named Anna Sokur. Unable to get information out of her, Charlie leaves and runs into the paramedia, Toby Logan who saved her from the car. Toby asks her if there was a child in the car, and Charlie says no.
In The Journey, Charlie looks into the person who is looking for Toby. Toby later calls her for help, and she comes to his aid, getting shot as a result. She later dies in the hospital.
